He was a tanker and drove the M1A1 Tank and was with the 4th Tank Battalion Echo Company.
He was deployed to Afghanistan April 2012 with the 1st Combat Engineers Battalion Mobile Assault Company.
He was killed in a hostile combat situation in Helmand Province Afghanistan
He was the only known marine that was killed in action in the history of the 4th Tank Battalion since 1943 and his uniform is on display at the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
He loved God, his family, friends, and country.
