Kindergarten Newsletter

Week of February 26

~I have already planned our field trip for the year. We will be going to the YMCA in Ferdinand and to Lindauer Farms. It will be May 25 (our last day of school). I will send more information later, but if anyone would like to go, you are welcome to attend but must have a criminal history check completed. You can find how to do this on the corporation website. I can help if you need it.

~This week will be the last week I will add words to the back of the newsletter. By the end of kindergarten, students should be able to sound out words that are cvc (consonant-vowel-consonant). These extra digraphs (sh, ch, th) are very important to know, but not required by the end of kindergarten. I will continue to update words on my website if you would like more challenging words.

What are we going to learn this week?
