Week of September 11
~I will not be in school on Friday, September 8. That’s why the newsletter is going home today.
~Grandparents’ Day is this week on Thursday and Friday. If you forgot what days grandparents are coming, you can call the office.
~Sight Word flash cards will go home as we learn new words. You may practice as much as you like.
~September 12 is midterm. I will be sending a midterm paper by email or by paper. You will see where we expect your child to be as we progress through kindergarten. We (the Dubois Kindergarten teachers and I) chose what we felt were the most important skills the children need to move to 1st grade and made a map of when they should know these skills.
