We are excited to start the 2017-2018 school year. Please be sure to print off your Registration Materials located on the Home Page under Digital Docs and Links. Bring them with you at Registration on Aug 2 from 4-8. Teachers will be in their classrooms to welcome you from 4:30-7. Anyone unable to come then should arrive on Aug 3 from 8-3 to comlete registration.
Please be aware of the following reminders to make the year run smoothly and optimize parent-school connections. Technology is our primary source of communication. Please allow us to email you with weekly bulletins, midterm and semester grade notifications, etc. Please notify the office of any changes to email addresses and/or phone numbers.
Signing up for Family Access is of great value for tracking lunch account balances for grades K-4 and for following student academic progress. See the handbook for more details on this opportunity. Our corporation website has a wealth of information as well.
We invite you to take an active interest in our Parent Teacher Organization. Each parent who has a child enrolled at Celestine is a member. We will send home notices alerting you to upcoming PTO meetings. Our PTO works very hard to provide many extras for our students including providing school supplies for all students and supporting class field trips. Please get involved and see, first-hand, the incredible influence this group has on the dynamics of Celestine Elementary.
Just a reminder that classes begin at 8:00. Anyone arriving after this will be counted as tardy. Dismissal will continue to begin at 3:00 (2:30 on Fridays).
Attendance will be taken very seriously as this is critical to a good education for all students with few disruptions from absences and re-teaching.
